I think back to the old news reports from 'Pattaya One' which I made a point of catching, that used to catalog a very entertaining list of various crimes and incidents that had happened around town in the last few days. Even then, it was rumoured that they had been requested to keep the negative incidents down, as it put the town in a bad light. (Reality and truth be damned).
