A routine Police Patrol arrested a Russian Tourist on Monday Night after he was caught in possession of two small packets of the class 5 drug Marijuana.

When the suspect, Mr. Konstantin Sitnikov aged 43 saw Police, he attempted to escape on his motorbike and was seen throwing away the Marijuana as he rode away. He was caught and taken to Pattaya Police Station where he was questioned for 5 hours as Police initially thought he may be involved in the recent Russian Double Murder case on Jomtien Beach.

Mr. Sitnikov was also questioned on possible Russian Mafia Activity in Pattaya but denied all knowledge of both. He was eventually charged with possession of a class 5 drug and will appear in court shortly.
