R Kelly denies sexual abuse in first interview since criminal charges – video / Image screen grab from youtube.com

The allegations that he has sexually, emotionally, and physically abused women and girls for decades are “stupid”, “not true”, and “not fair”, singer R Kelly said in clips from an emotional new interview with CBS News’ Gayle King.

“I didn’t do this stuff, this is not me, I’m fighting for my [expletive] life,” the singer said, his voice cracking, apparently on the edge of tears.

The CBS This Morning interview comes less than two weeks after Kelly was released on $100,000 bail after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse against four victims, three of whom were between the ages of 13 and 17 when their alleged attacks took place.

The alleged incidents date back as far as May 1998.

And now he know the meaning of bad love
He is leaning on the everlasting arms

If he can see it, then he can do it
If he just believe it, there's nothing to it

He believe he can fly
He believe he can touch the sky
He will think about it every night and day (Night and day)
Unzip his zipper and legs and fly away

He believe he can soar
We see him walking through that open door
He believed he can fly
He believed he can fly
He believed he can fly hoo

See he was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud
There are jailtimes in life he must achieve
But first he know it starts inside of him, ho oh

If we can see it hoo, then he can be it
If he just believe it, there's nothing to it

He believe he can fly
He believe…
