Trump is an odious man, someone who uses every lever of power to reward special interest bankers, war profiteers, and stock market touts, while engaging with porn stars and prostitutes, all the while mocking people who put their lives on the line for the country while he cowered at home. None of that, however, excuses the hyperventilation over this investigation. Yes, the investigation needs to be investigated. Who leaked what to whom. I want to know. I'm more than happy for Trump to hang, if that is the legal judgment. But I want the instigators of this to hang if they did anything wrong, too. That includes the Clintons, Obama, Lynch, Steele, Mueller himself, Comey, and other partisans at the FBI and in the intelligence agencies. Frankly, I think they should build a wall around DC and leave them all to feed on each other.

Political post of the Year. A true civil libertarian and a man whose opinions deserve respect (even if wrong) wrote that post. A true Mensch. I am not worthy. Thank you.

Sign..The investigation was initiated based upon an intelligence report by the Australian Ambassador in the UK which was passed onto US authorities.

I agree completely with the House Speaker who does not want to impeach Trump due to the hassle and cost involved. Let's vote the  narcissistic megalomaniac out of office and send him back where he belongs- the scrap heap of History.

IMO Trump will go down in History as the worst President ever.  His foreign policy is a shambles and his domestic policy is a lie.

His modus operandi is to continue lying and eventually enough people  will believe it.

As a human being he is reprehensible. His rhetoric and personal attacks on people- even when they have died show no moral compass.

Mostly, I think you're correct. But I don't want to see impeachment become nothing more than a weapon used by the side not holding the presidency. If there is something there, yes, impeach and remove. But I don't want to see every presidency commence simultaneously with articles of impeachment. And I don't think Trump is the worst president in history--yet.  GW Bush bankrupted the country, led it into a credit bubble and financial catastrophe we still haven't emerged from. And 30 years of US presidents have engaged in a policy of financing and arming our greatest enemy (China) that may yet prove the final stake through the heart of the US. But certainly no president ever that I can think of has proven to be such an abominable human being as Trump. It's one thing for a politician to lie; it's another for a president to glory in lies and brag about them. But Tump is just the cherry on top of three decades of sustained ineptitude.

do you know what that is, in US legal terms?

Not that I should expect an honest bebate about the issue with someone who has an avatar like yours. Another one with his life based on Trump hating.

But hey, lets cut to the chase, I assume that the following takes care of your unidicted co-conspirator silliness:

You should have read before posting:

The author declares categorically ..... blah blah blah and then adds 'as far as we know'.

Let's just wait a few days until the contents of the report are made public.

You've assumed the worst since day one, and I am sure you still will regardless what you read. You made up your mind long ago without any verifiable evidence.

Is that coming from TVF's champion of impartiality?
