What problems of conflicts of interests could arise with Jared Kushner?

If you don't already know, Jared had bought a building in New York City at 666 Fifth Ave.  It turned out to not be such a promising move.  In order to buy the property, Jared needed to mortgage much of the property to the tune of about 1.3 or 1.4 billion USD, i.e., lots of money.  (I'd love to know how that mortgage got approved, but perhaps that's another topic.)

The due date for repayment of the mortgage started to loom in the then near future.  As luck would have it, Jared found his investor to help with the huge mortgage, who just happened to have important ties to Qatar.

Jared also needed some financing of certain condos in Jersey City, USA.

Well, it all gets a little involved, so I'll provide a link below to an article that explains the details better than me.

Here's part of it:

"Kushner did little to dispel the notion that he’d sell state secrets to the highest bidder to finance some condos in Jersey City by refusing to allow embassy staffers to sit in on his meeting last week with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who U.S. officials fear views Kushner as a ripe target for manipulation."  [Bold added.]

By the way, did not the Trump Administration want MBS and Saudi Arabia to get nuclear power plants?  What a coincidence!

It is inevitable that Trump’s actions spilling intelligence information ton Russia has created mistrust between the US and it’s most important allies.

Trump acting in plain sight as a lap dog to an adversary while undermining trust with allies.

It's true that they don't take salaries. Of course, those salaries wouled be a pittance compared to the wealth they've acquired by their canniness at being born to wealthy parents. It used to be expected that such people would put their financial interests into a blind trust. Not the case with those 2.

have they enriched themselves in any way, or is this just more misguided irrational hatred?

and have any democrats ever declined salaries?

anything more relevant ? well sorry, to please your request of relevant, I called the White House and asked but they hang up???? ... More seriously, even if no salary, obvious issues and public uproar can arise,  when a person holding a certain position in public office, appoints a close friend or family member. Maybe not in the USA ? ?.... but definately in many countries around the world.

Thank you for your time reading my post and for your comment.

Neither Jared nor Ivanka get paid, so they are not on the taxpayer payroll. The "clearance" issue is nonsense. That whole system exists to vet masses of otherwise unknown people in an objective and systematic way. Trump's children, or people he knows well, obviously don't need to go through that process, and since the process exists only as tool for President, it is for him and him alone to decide how much weight such reports should be given. Same thing with "confidential" information. The President is the ultimate arbiter of what is classified and what is not and who should be given access and who should not. If he thinks National Security concerns warrant sharing something with Russia, he can do it unilaterally any time he wants. The people entrusted that responsibility to him when they elected him President.

Besides, Trump's son-in-law, who was given a security clearance against the advice of the experts, is Jewish.  I thought you didn't trust Jewish people.  Aren't they who you were referring to when you posted:

Trump certainly has.  In one blatant example, he doubled the admission fee to Mar-a-Lago shortly after the election, then announced it would be his "winter Whitehouse".  That alone more than compensated for the salary.

Regarding the rest of the family, we don't know with any certainty how they have been enriching themselves in office since they have not revealed their finances in detail  That definitely needs to be made illegal.

If people want to pay to go to Mar-a-Lago that is their business, not anyone elses. No one is forcing them to go there.

In the world of the anti Trumpers, he and his family just have to be doing something wrong, without any evidence.

Boring after 2 years of it, with nothing to show.

So why even start the process? Why have Jared re-submit his forms 40+ times? Why over-ride non-partisan bureaucrats? Why hide the fact that he ordered CoS Kelly to grant Jared a security clearance?

I mean just be open and honest about it. Unless...

Boring?? Far from it as it's been a bit of a rollercoaster and something new is always in the offing to add to those that we already know about – – –

– Pussy grabbing

– Constant lying

– Recycled constant lying

– Knowing more about everything than anyone else does (a great video clip that one)

– Paying off a stripper to gain her silence for his affair

– Hiring and firing "only the best people"

– Being made to look a fool by Kim Jong-un

– Increasing tariffs on Chinese goods which has hurt his very own base

– Not understanding the difference between drugs that are smuggled into the country via the main routes/roads versus those which are smuggled in via tunnels etc

– Being a climate change denier when he really doesn't understand anything about it at all

– Souring relationships with the European Community

– Supporting the Saudi Arabian Prince after the Khashoggi murder

– Stating that there were some "nice people" in a white supremacist gathering

Probably so many more out there, but I've got other things to do and as for those who believe that this orange clown's tenure has been boring, well there's probably a lot more to come................

PS. Forgot to add this cracker: Donald Trump claims his father was born in Germany……….

Of all the odd, counterfactual and conspiratorial claims President Donald Trump has made over the past four years or so, this one may take the cake: He said Tuesday that his father was born in Germany, even though he wasn't.

It is at least the third time he has said this.

"My father is German - was German," Trump said. "Born in a very wonderful place in Germany, so I have a great feeling for Germany."

He needs to see a psychiatrist and pretty quickly too!!

Far from needing a psychiatrist, IMO he is genius at yanking his opponents' chains and probably has a jolly good laugh at the reactions. He might even have compilation tapes of all the best reactions, a bit like U Tube compilations of people crying after Trump got elected.

This constant trolling of more than half the country is a loser strategy for 2020. Or at least it should be. Trouble is the Democrats seem intent on putting up people with ideas that seem to have come from Stalin's and Mao's ultimate fantasies. Still, I remain amazed at how Prince Jared gets so little examination from the press, while his impotent and maldeveloped father-in-law allows him to run wild in the White House.

Certainly worth remembering that had the DNC not sabotaged Bernie, Trump would not be presently the president.

Bet there are more than a few ex DNC members crying themselves to sleep every night at that mistake.

Stable genius, of course.

Yanking someone's chain is just so, presidential.
