It's true that they don't take salaries. Of course, those salaries wouled be a pittance compared to the wealth they've acquired by their canniness at being born to wealthy parents. It used to be expected that such people would put their financial interests into a blind trust. Not the case with those 2.

anything more relevant ? well sorry, to please your request of relevant, I called the White House and asked but they hang up???? ... More seriously, even if no salary, obvious issues and public uproar can arise,  when a person holding a certain position in public office, appoints a close friend or family member. Maybe not in the USA ? ?.... but definately in many countries around the world.

Trump certainly has.  In one blatant example, he doubled the admission fee to Mar-a-Lago shortly after the election, then announced it would be his "winter Whitehouse".  That alone more than compensated for the salary.

 

Regarding the rest of the family, we don't know with any certainty how they have been enriching themselves in office since they have not revealed their finances in detail  That definitely needs to be made illegal.

Neither Jared nor Ivanka get paid, so they are not on the taxpayer payroll. The "clearance" issue is nonsense. That whole system exists to vet masses of otherwise unknown people in an objective and systematic way. Trump's children, or people he knows well, obviously don't need to go through that process, and since the process exists only as tool for President, it is for him and him alone to decide how much weight such reports should be given. Same thing with "confidential" information. The President is the ultimate arbiter of what is classified and what is not and who should be given access and who should not. The security clearance system exists to ensure that competent liars don't get into a position to harm the US.  Given Trump's history of appointing dubious characters with shady past dealings with Russia, it is essential that it be used properly.

He needs to see a psychiatrist and pretty quickly too!!

Far from needing a psychiatrist, IMO he is genius at yanking his opponents' chains and probably has a jolly good laugh at the reactions. He might even have compilation tapes of all the best reactions, a bit like U Tube compilations of people crying after Trump got elected.
