I would like to get tested (and treated if necessary) for liver fluke.    I understand that there is a blood antibody test for liver fluke now (instead of examining stool samples for parasite eggs). However, I am not sure if the blood antibody tests are used in Thailand.    Does anyone have experience and/or recommendations for a Dr and/or facility that would be appropriate?   Thanks very much....

Yes, ELISA test is used here but only larger hospitals, usually those affiliated with a university, are likely to have it. And they will order it only if the clinical picture is suggestive of fluke infection i.e. you would have trouble getting this done on demand.
