  • But without the PM or the article offering any details of the university's proposal.

What about preventing the problem in the first place, been proactive is much better than trying to solve the problem AFTER the forests are ablaze, the trouble is Thailand is not good at

"The Prime Minister stressed that he found out on his visit to Chiang Mai on April 2 that the operation to solve the problem was effective," ok, so just what "operation" was that? Must guess is, they said wait long enough and it will go away, same as last year, and the one before that, and before that etc.

Great news, everything solved, and within the seven-day window as promised.

It's funny how all you you country dwellers harp on about the pleasures of life in the sticks, and how terrible bangkok is.

So the solution is to wear hazmat suits for half a year?

Solve? Usually praising someone for "solving" an issue requires it actually solved, not a press conference to pretend you're doing something about it.

ehm, respectfully, please note we are in Thailand.

Just wear a mask.

Wear a mask in bed and in the shower. Wear a mask everywhere.

Problem will soon go away.

Problem in itself.

The problem won't go away, people will just get used to wearing masks all the time.

You must be simply unlucky. In a vortex, or something.

I'm north of Udon Thani and it it is very comfortable. Admittedly I have a fan on the go, but the air is lovely. Off to the farm shortly to feed the fish. Just the occasional bit of burnt sugar leaf wafting in the air. Nothing worth worrying about.

Too much concrete in Udon.

BTW, what is 130 and 104? I use modern methods of calculating temperature; as does most of the world.

the Uni's solution to the PM... well it is pretty technical, but here goes:

1. go to aircon, and attach the following filter to the intake

Image result for st-810 zapper bat      what you now have is a simple Ozone Creator.

you won't smell the outside smog anymore... well the solution provides the 'in lieu of...' smells of ozone and fumes of cooking mozzies;

that will overpower anything!

SOooooo............. NOW..... He (Prayut) is the PM?????????????

And here I thought the 'results' weren't final yet............ LOL .......

He said the best way to protect themselves from the pollution is to wear a face mask all the time even when they are in their houses,

Thanks for the tip! Seems like a great place for retirement.

You all miss the point. This is a self-limiting problem.

Dead people don't complain. The worse the pollution, the faster you die. When everyone is dead, no-one to light the fires, and no-one left to complain. Win-Win for the politicians.
