Unless he committed a tax crime you aren't going to see it and there is no advantage for him to make it public. So I guess you can cry all you want but unless the IRS has a charge against him it won't matter.

Untrue. The House Committee can vote to release it. The IRS has no say in that.

I'd be shocked if his returns were more scandalous than Amazon's or GE's. I think that's why he gives them such a hard time. He's jealous about all they can get away with.

GE & Amazon are corporations. Trump is an individual.

I'll bet that's not his theory as presented in his taxes. I'd be willing to bet a great deal of his personal overhead is expensed to his various corporations which come under the umbrella of The Trump Organization. In his mind, and frankly the way he's marketed for decades, is that he is selling himself as a brand.

I'm surprised one of his boys hasn't come up with a Trump branded AR-15 yet.

Because you believe that the Republicans still control the House?

Does Lois Lerner still hold sway at the IRS? Haven't seen her like since J. Edgar Hoover. If she's still there the Democrats might have a shot.

I guess when you've got nothing relevant to produce , you can always resort to  the "non-scandals" of the Obama administration. Or is it that you don't understand the relevant law in this case?

Time will tell. Trump will most likely Jussie his way out of this. I think we are once again at the conclusion of useful discourse.

Jussie?  It's not even an analagous situation. Another nonsensical deflection.

I do understand the law. A law that was written prior to subsequent laws that give taxpayers certain rights of confidentiality. Looks like a court battle ahead.

Those laws give taxpayers certain right in relations to dealing with the IRS. Nothing in there at all that would negate Congress' power under law to request tax returns.

Is there some other agency other than the IRS that is responsible for vetting US Federal tax returns and collecting taxes due ? The IRS is "the state" as far as the US taxpayer is concerned. Why don't we just wait and see what happens rather than talk about it as if we know whatmust happen. Maybe we'll all be surprised.

But you do understand that there is a law passed in 1924 that allowed Congress to demand that the IRS turn over tax returns of any citizen?

And you provide no substantive rebuttals. Simply assertions about my lack of knowledge. Haven't got much use for facts, have you?

It's a good thing that the socialist left hangs on for Trump's returns you won't be able to access them. It only makes the dems look dumber than they already look.

Once again, no hard facts. Just irrelevant assertions and insults.

Any Supreme Court cases upholding that law?  That ought to put your Googling to good use. Let us know, will you?

This sort of righteousness is why the dems will seize defeat from the jaws of victory.

"Welcome to the circular shooting squad". That's an Obama quote just so everybody knows the context.

Once again, when you've got nothing you resort to making predictions about the 2020 elections. Don't you have anything substantive at all to offer?

So it is your assertion that Obama is wrong in that quote?

Ah, so we've gone from "release because it's tradition", to "it's the law".   And now you goof balls are quoting chapter and verse, as if you've known it all along and like, duh you guys, "it's the law".  And you say Trump supporters are idiots for parroting Fox News.    LMAO!

This effort and the pretext behind the Ways and Means request, is as obvious as a fart in church on Sunday.  That's why it will fail.  Ought to sack the  House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal (D-Mass) for misuse of his position and authority for political purposes.
