STYLE Bangkok kicks off at BITEC Bang Na

BANGKOK, 18 April 2019 (NNT) -The Ministry of Commerce accelerates the organization of activities to drive exports. Today, STYLE Bangkok kicked off at BITEC Bang Na. The fair comprises three events which feature lifestyle products to meet the demands of buyers in all product groups. 

 

Business operators from over 70 countries are attending the event.

The fair comprises three events: the Bangkok International Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair (BIFF & BIL); the Bangkok International Gift Fair and Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIG+BIH) and the Thailand International Furniture Fair (TIFF).

 

The event is being attended by manufacturers and exporters of lifestyle products from all over the country to exhibit their products. There are also products from over 900 companies in other countries including China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan and the CLMV countries spread across 1,700 sales booths.

 

There are also interesting lifestyle product exhibitions, such as the New Entrepreneurs’ Product Exhibition Zone, the Zone for over 100 SME Operators, a zone which introduces the use of various materials to create lifestyle products, the provincial offices of commerce product zone and the Geographical Indication (GI) product zone.

 

Mr. Bunyarit Kalayanamit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, today expressed his confidence that the lifestyle product group is still an important export product of Thailand due to its continual expansion. 

 

The event is aimed at being an important international trade fair for the region and to position Thailand as a center for the production and export of lifestyle products. Since the event is host to over 70 exporting countries, this is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and exporters of Thai lifestyle products to expand their businesses into foreign markets.

 

STYLE Bangkok is open for business negotiations from today until April 19 and will be open to the general public on April 20 and 21 at Hall 98-104, BITEC Bang Na.
