Barr press conference scheduled for 9:30am

pop corn ready.

It will be like a "press" conference in a Banana Republican. A propaganda dump by a fully owned partisan LACKEY. The reporters can't possibly even know what to ask as the report (as redacted as it will be) won't be released until AFTER the press conference. The current president is totally trashing the American democracy.

If there is an actual law that requires Trump to release his tax records, or the IRS to then it should be complied with. If not, then there is no reason to release them. What others chose to do is their business only.

If there is a law that says Muellers report must be released in full without redactions, then it must be complied with. If not, then it can be issued how the AG sees fit.

Amercians died in Bhengazi. The American people have the right to know why American lives were lost. They also have the right to know if anyone was responsible through negligence or whatever in contributing to those deaths. The conversation between Bill Clinton and the then AG on an airport runway, the comments from the FBI, etc etc all seem rather unusual.

Spin...spin...spin!  Whew, getting dizzy with all the misdirects.

There we have what? Another propaganda statement from the president's lackey. Have you seen the report yet? No?

A statement?  I thought it was a song in two verses.  The first singing Trump's praises and the second a tearful lament about how he was done wrong.  Was that the US attorney general, or Trump's personal attorney?

Well worst case scenario he is impeached. Too bad there is this thing called the senate. He will be impeached possibly and still win a second term. Maybe the dems should try a different tactic now and try to find somebody who isn't insane to run against Trump.

The dems are so outraged and angry and teared up and the real reason is they are becoming aware with what they have currently they are going to lose bigly.

Yes, it's a political decision. I don't agree with you that it would be that damaging if congress impeaches and the Quislings in the senate don't convict. This isn't Bill Clinton. This isn't about lying about adult consensual sex. This is ten counts of obstruction of justice and countless counts of presidential abuse of power. Mueller left it for congress to decide. It isn't for Barr or Fox News to decide. Mueller respected that a sitting president can't be indicted. But he was very clear, a sitting president CAN be impeached, and that's what the constitutional power of impeachment is about -- situations like this. But because of the timing now with 2020 coming up, of course it's still a political decision about whether to proceed. I have no predictions yet. It's way too early to know whether they will proceed but it's not too early to see they have strong grounds to proceed.
