PM Prayut pleased, Bangkok named most popular city for Japanese tourists

Featured Replies

The survey shows it is a 2nd hottest country in Asean. I don’t think so is a good idea to travel.

  • "The two countries’s cultures are also quite similar." I've lived in Japan, live here now. I reckon least similar of all East Asian nations

  • Well, this is much better than ''Thailand named least miserable country' item of yesterday, even if it's done by a travel outfit with an agenda...

  • The Japanese do everything perfect, the Thai cut all corners perfect....quite similar.

No doubt these were PM 'lemon curd's very own word's. In the wake of tsunamis and radio-active fall-out, even Bangkok may just be deemed liveable.

It only matters that the Supreme Leader is pleased…nothing else is unimportant.

Thanks, Hayduke . . . a Freudian slip of the highest order and, anyway, if the PM didn't gorge on these little shreds of comfort, he'd only be making an ass of himself in another department that's trying to stay out of the limelight, e.g. death penalty for DUI killers that got kicked out of court and Chiang Mai's fires that are still burning one week after he'd told them to go out. Who knows . . . this might be one of the very last bits of pleasure that PM 'lemon curd' receives . . . as a politician, that is.

Of course he's "pleased" - he's hardly going to say that he's "displeased" about it!

And the fact that it came from a "Travel Company" IMHO doesn't give it much credibility!

The survey didn't say the most popular destination, only that the Japanese were the most prevalent in Phuket etc..
