Gods honest truth, in 25 plus years, I have always rolled into Swampy between 9-11 pm, except once I arrived in a morning years and years ago and dont remember why, or indeed anything other than the fact I barely made it to my crib with clean pants, hurry hurry hong nam, but I digress...

 

I am looking at various ways of getting to Bangkok this fall, many of which arrive during the day.

 

Never spent more than 10 minutes at Immigration in and out at night, what is it like in the morning please?

I arrived late March at 1030. It took about 20 minutes to get through immigration, and an additional 20 to get my luggage. Still, fairly uneventful and quick. It's good to land in the early morning to be able to catch a later domestic flight out of BKK.

Arrived at 0630 one trip. Longest part of clearance was awaiting the arrival of luggage, think about 40 minutes to be out and away
