Monthly Rate Hotel?

Featured Replies

Can anybody recommend a decent monthly rate hotel in Chiang Mai? Preferably somewhere reasonably central, around 10K.

I'm moving to CM next month and I need a base for a few weeks whilst I look for somewhere more long-term.

Thanx in advance

Veerachai Court?

It's not the classiest place in the world, but it costs well under your budget, is very central and has aircon.

Costs well below your budget, but as you get here in April and will be running the airconditioner at their electricity rates, you'll be pretty much up there I think. :o

I haven't tried any of these, but fuengfa place looked like it might be good.

I have tried to get the deluxe rooms from Viangbua Mansion (http://www.viangbua.chiangmai-online.com/room_rates.html ), but they are always booked. Their superior rooms are 12000/month so this is a little over your budget.

By the way, I don't think it will take you a month to find a place.

So much wanted to abuse my Mods position and change the title of this thread to "Hourly rate hotel". But common sense has prevailed.

Need to get away from TV for a little while before I go stir crazy.

Cup of tea should do it!

Tawan Court Hotel ..centre of town I think its around 8k a month.

When I first came to CM I found Doi View hotel. Its near Nimmanhemin and its vacation quality and makes you feel good about yourself. Good views and rooms, Spa, Restaurants, Internet etc.

The daily prices are not cheap but I did monthly and I was 9,500 for the Junior suite which was on the upper floors. There are some more and less expensive choices also. They don't list the prices on the web for monthly but you can just show up.
