Surprising isn't it, that so often when you see Fromage in public he has at least a couple of burly men, trying to pretend that the are normal members of the public, beside him. Remind you of any other politician/party? Probably gets them free from friend Putin, or maybe you can get them in poundstreacher.

An operational necessity after Joe Cox as i'm sure you are aware.

It's such a shame, at one time politicians and the like could campaign without this mindless petty attack. Now some remainers are becoming so radicalised that they feel it is ok to attack, insult and shout down people who actually represent democracy. Hopefully come Thursday Nigel Farage will be asking again "you're not laughing now, are you.

You used the argument, and it made no difference, there is no evidence of pressure on the German Government ... I’m afraid the “they need us more than we need them” argument has been shown up for what it is ... a falsehood.

Of course the EU would feel some economic pain from no deal, but spread over 27 countries the impact would not be significant ... unlike the UK that would feel the full brunt. It was an argument that appealed at a superficial level ... enough to convince the plebs and useful idiots that it was true. And any argument against was project fear. Now you are saying that it’s the EU’s fault for not giving us everything that we want ... you couldn’t make it up ... but of course you do, on here, every day.

As I said its naïve to think the report didn't apply pressure...for what else was it designed? How the German government reacted to it is another issue.

If it was spread evenly over 27 countries you might have a point but its not, most of the 27 trade bits and bobs. The info Deloitte generated affects Germany to the tune of 255000 vehicles, 18000 jobs and Euro6.7billion loss of earnings. Other big players in large exports are Spain, fruit and veg,

France and Italy, wine,  Where are Spain France and Germany going to go to replace lost sales? It would be much easier to come to an accommodation with the current customer.

I don't blame the EU for anything concerning trade. No one understands better than me business is business and no one knows better than all of us, the altar at which you worship.

Do you think that he is the only politician with bodyguards?

Look at the PM, JC and many others, they ALL have bodyguards and in a few cases the bodyguards are armed.

BTW do you think that you could Nigel Farage by his proper name? It is after all only politeness and good manners.

But if all this were true why hasn't it happened? Because it was a falsehood from the beginning, we needed them more, not the other way around. We didn't have the strong bargaining position that Brexiters claimed ... because if we did we'd have got everything that we asked for.

Farage'll come out of this smelling of roses just in time for the election:

Because the report is predicated on a hard Brexit and that hasn't happened...………………..yet.

More surprising that he needs them, see as how the Remainers are all so superior and intellectual an all. It seems that some of them are leftist thugs really.  Who'da thunk that he might need some support from a communist like Putin?? Putin, really - Remainer tinfoil hat time? Could it be because the police won't protect politicians they don't like?

Has there been any outcry about this from those MPs who all fear for their own safety and squeal that "extremists want to undermine democracy" when Soubry had a few chants aimed at her while spouting on the TV stand and strolling down Parliament Square. The cops investigated that time. What about the MPs who thought it was good fun to see Tommy Robinson assaulted with milkshakes while on his MEP campaign? No arrests there and one offender was even helped back to the train station!! Seeing how leftist and radicals can get away with it, the Pakistanis came back again with eggs and bricks in Oldham over the weekend. Remainers being seen for what they really are - enemies of the people.

According to you and a few other bigoted remainers, Nigel Farage has no supporters:-

And this was from just week one.

Spot anything odd about this crowd, supposed to be representative of the general public. Look again, I can only see one face that appears to belong to someone under 50, most of them look well over 60. Hardly any women either - taking care of the house no doubt as is their proper role. I never tire of saying it,  Brexit is a sad old parochial white male fantasy, the country will recover from it like you recover from a bad dose of Delhi Belly. Sweetness and light to you all needless to say.

New fears for eurozone as German economy 'goes into reverse'and political tensions rise in Italy

The eurozone is facing a weak second quarter as the German economy goes into “reverse” and political cracks widen in Italy.

Germany's central bank, the Bundesbank, revealed its gloomy view on the eurozone’s largest economy on Monday.

A host of one-off effects had helped to boost growth so far this year after stagnation in the second half of 2018. However, these factors would be short-lived and unlikely to support an expansion in the last six months of this year, the report warned.

Hang on! Wasn't it the UK economy that was supposed to tank!

How on earth could the German Economy 'go into reverse' when Remainers keep telling us the EU is an economic paradise? When are Remainers going to accept the single currency is a fiscal disaster?

But the economic pain from no deal is not spread evenly over 27 countries; the impact on the German auto industry would be significant.

Can't see anything there more odd than your posts. Hardly any women? One face under 50! You need to look again. You also need to consider that the majority of these rallies have been held during working and school hours.

I remember Hamish Imlach. He was a great Scottish folk singer in the 1970s. I met him when he was doing a tour of the Forces Folk clubs in Germany around 1975.

From Wikipedia.

Hamish Imlach (10 February 1940, Calcutta, British India - 1 January 1996, Motherwell, Scotland) was a Scottish folk singer. He was born in Calcutta to Scottish parents but claimed to have been conceived in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sorry for going off topic a bit.

If Germany does go into recession they will probably have to cut their contributions into the EU bottomless piggy bank.

IMO all 27 EU countries will feel the heat sooner or later, especially when the UK stops its contributions.

It is these Guardian non-stories that show the lack of understanding of history. They are false comparisons and are alarmist Project Fear attempts. My butterfly is a symbol of peace. Less of the negative waves..man.
