good dermatologist recommendation in the BKK area

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a good dermatologist in Bangkok? It is for lichen sclerosus. Thank you.

Dr. Parichart Chalidapongse at St Louis Hospital or SukhumvitHospital

http://www.saintlouis.or.th/index  (call for her hours)

Dr. Niyom is male, Dr. Parichart is female. (If you have this in groin or anal area might prefer to see same sex doc.)

There is also a government skin hospital  near Victory Monument

Many thanks Sheryl. That is helpful.

I’ve been to see Dr.Niyom to have some moles removed by laser and the treatment was excellent and very thorough and professional.

I saw Dr. Niyom also, thanks to Sheryl's recommendation.

Consultation and an Rx.

No problem with him.

Saw him for a new issue, and I mentioned some pre-existing conditions to him while I was there, to get a 2nd opinion.

He agreed with the assessments of my dermatologist in the US.

When I got back to the US, my dermatologist agreed with his Rx, as well as that of Dr. Mati at Chiang Mai Ram who I'd consulted with and gotten an Rx for a different issue.

("Your doctors in Thailand know what they're doing").

Price comparison between Chiang Mai Ram and VitalLife/Bumrungrad:

Dr. Mati's bill including medication was 852 THB.

Dr. Niyom's bill including medication was 2,246.

Both as mentioned were a (fairly brief) consultation and an Rx.

2 different medications but they both were around the same price.
