Whether you like him or hate him, there is no place for violence in politics, and that includes throwing food and drinks at politicians you disagree with. There's another word for using violent tactic

When it comes to double standards, the Milkshakes drama takes some beating.

In March. there was a chorus of outrage when Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was splattered by an egg while visiting a mosque. The man who threw the missile ended up jailed for 28 days.

Yet hurling milkshakes over so-called "right wing" MEP campaigners is apparently not only something to be tolerated, but actually celebrated on social and mass media.

Justice is supposed to be blind when it comes to political prejudice. Unless these latest incidents are taken seriously as that involving the Left's leader, it is our legal suystem which risks ending up with egg on its face.

And the plastic container was left by the Farage thugs laying on the pavement.  Certainly Farage is not interested in the environment. ????  Complete waste of plastic as he could have used it to spit out his Brexit bile into it.

Why not leave it there. It wasn't his and the bloke who threw it should also be charged with littering.

Its called community responsibility and care for the environment.

I’m quite certain that if you took the trouble to look you’d find plenty of celebrating on social media when Corbyn was egged.

Still smoldering in the background although the poor bloke's delivery is more Biggens than Farage (????)

Well if you can not read the international media report about your hero , then perhaps you are denial of knowing the facts ?

Aah yes, the international media.  A bastion of truth, transparency and impartiality.

Compared to Farage and his lies even 10% would be greater. But still denial is the 1st choice for many Brexiteers when facts mask their gullibility perhaps ? That is not to say you are wrong in worshiping him, but just saying reality and facts always outweigh  lies.

But he who threw the milk has the responsibility for clearing it up. He obviously has no sense of community responsibility and care for the environment.

You don't quite grasp "community responsibility " do you,  ????

My comments were to indicate my distrust of the international media.

How on earth do you take my comments as meaning that I worship Farage?  I'm not a Brexiteer or a Remainer and can see the reasons behind both positions.  You are completely deluded.

Could you state the lies which Nigel has told ?

So if you have no opinion on Brexit why on earth are you commenting on a subject that you have no interest in, other than trolling or perhaps baiting posters that do have an interest ?

Anyone have the first clue what he's lying about?

His speech last night was an eye opener, particularly the last 10 mins...

What a strange request. I doubt that you or I have a sufficient number of years left on this earth to compile such a list. However to be positive I can state the one thing that he stated which was truthful,

"My name is Nigel Farage"   ????????????

More bad optics for the neo-fascist left? Oh yes please.

Who says I have no interest or have no right to comment?  I am not allowed to vote but do have a strong interest in what happens to both the UK and EU.  As I said earlier I can see the logic and reason behind both the arguments; life is not simply a case of 'if you're not with me you're against me!'

Perhaps if politicians did their jobs and sat down to find solutions we wouldn't have to treat this all like taking sides in a playground.

I reiterate, my comment was to express my distrust in international media and their vested interests.  It in no way can be interpreted as trolling or baiting.

Geoff ,we are trying to have a serious conversation and your constant "crying with laughter" emojis are making me feel rather uncomfortable .

Maybe its just a nervous laugh , but I do find it difficult trying to converse with someone, when they keep laughing all the time  .

( No need to try to explain that its someone else's fault that you cannot stop laughing)

Can you provide any example  of Nigel lying , or was that you lying making false accusations?

Farage & Cable are on GMB @ 9am bst tomorrow ????

OK, just so you do not get upset again, here it is again without the emojis. Frankly adding a laughing emoji goes someway to lighten the seriousness of what Farage and his cronies are attempting to do to the UK by his worthless statements intended to ensure that the gullible Brexiteers vote for his party on Thursday.

So again;

I doubt that you or I have a sufficient number of years left on this earth to compile such a list. However to be positive I can state the one thing that he stated which was truthful,

"My name is Nigel Farage"

He stated that the Norway option was being out of the EU, now he describes it as a betrayal. He never mentioned no deal Brexit during the campaign but now it’s the only interpretation of Brexit, and anything less is a betrayal.

He stated on the eve of the vote that Leave had lost, his friends in the City had told him, when he’d just been told that exit polls paid for by hedge funds were clearly predicting a Leave victory. He did it to manipulate the GBP currency market.

He’s a serial liar. And oily little conman.

But the law dates from 20 years ago when Brown was Chancellor of the Exchequer; he didn't seem to think there was a problem during his years in power.  The law is simply inappropriate now due to the changes in social media, crowdfunding and electronic payments.

Looks like Brown has been wheeled out to spread suspicion.

The law is not so much inappropriate now as it is totally inadequate for some of the exact same reasons you cite, namely changes in social media, crowdfunding and electronic payments. Maybe the alleged Russian meddling or Chinese snooping or Saudi influence peddling is all a bit of smoke without fire but regardless of what many elected persons adamantly claim, my own jury is still out.

It took about 3 days for Austria's coalition government to collapse after it was shown that the at-the-time un-elected vice-chancellor and leader of the FPÖ, was caught in the act suggesting to a 'Russian' investor that if they assisted his election push and his party gained office, then when it came to deals, then anything was possible.

"Again, and again, the supposed Russian asked what was in it for her. If she took over the Kronen Zeitung before the election and helped the party "to the number one position," the FPÖ chief said, "then we can talk about anything.""

The full article linked above relates how the now-former vice-chancellor of the freshly deposed government suggested investment vehicles to the 'Russian' that would keep any donations completely off the state's own financial oversight and audit of party funding. It suggests to me that maybe a lot of outwardly 'non-profit associations' may profit in less obvious ways?

Remember, these are career politicians. Like some short-term England football team managers, they just can't bloody help themselves. But unlike some short-term England football team managers, their self-seeking duplicity and personal greed has far, far deeper implications.
