Man kills his 3 year old daughter and then electrocutes himself in Sattahip.

A disturbing case now from our broadcast colleagues in Sattahip District. Police Colonel Somtain, the Chief of Sattahip Police was one of many officers to respond to a report from Khun Wirawan aged 18 who made a report of an alleged assault by her father who was threatening to kill his entire family. Police rushed to the location but it was too late.

The front door was locked from the inside and in one of the rooms, the blood-stained bodies of Khun Wunchai aged 46 and his 3 year old daughter was found. A knife thought to have been used in the attack was also found. The three year old girl’s neck was cut and Khun Wunchai appears to have taken his own life by electrocution.

The shocked 18 year old daughter explained that his father was angry at her for engaging in a lengthy relationship with a man without any plans for marriage. The argument became violent and she was attacked and managed to escape before sustaining serious injury. At this point she made her way to the Police Station but it was too late to save her 3 year old sister.
