Police Arrest Gamblers to Find Yaba as a Bonus

At 3.00am on 10th March, Pattaya Police was informed that in a room of “50 Rooms for Rent”, South Pattaya, there were people gambling noisily and disturbing the neighboring rooms, so they went to investigate.

When the police entered to arrest the gamblers, the owner of the room acted very suspiciously so the police decided to search the entire room.

To their surprise, the police found a lot of Yaba Tablets in a medicine bottle in the bathroom and some more in a Clorets candy box, which came to a total of 116 tablets.

That was not enough, when the police searched the room owner’s handbag; they found another 744 Yaba tablets!

The police escorted all back to the station together with the 860 Yaba tablets that they found.

The owner of the room; Mrs. Gaysorn Pramuan, aged 50, from Udon Thani Province confessed to possessing 800 Yaba tablets. She stated that she bought them from her home town to sell in Pattaya. She only sells them in her room and plays cards to kill time every day while she waits for her customers.

Mr. Meechai, aged 30, confessed that he possessed 60 Yaba tablets, which he had just bought from Pramuan.

As for the other three captured people, they were only there to play cards.

Everyone was charged accordingly, and further proceedings are ongoing.
