Pattaya: Myanmar "guide" caught urinating at Bali Hai pier

 

 

City Hall special services doing their rounds at Bali Hai pier in South Pattaya on Monday caught a Myanmar man urinating. 

 

77kaoded published a picture of an official pointing at the trickle that was not yet dry. 

 

A 50 year old Myanmar man was taken into custody and fined at City Hall.

 

The media said that he could speak Thai clearly and appeared to be acting as a guide. 

 

Officials asked the Thai public and foreign tourists to keep Pattaya clean and refrain from urinating in public.

Keep Pattaya clean by not urinating in public, better still just urinate into the sea as it cannot make it any worse there.

What about all the Thai baht bus or motorbike taxi drivers urinating against walls and in empty plots of land in the city?  ( Oh, they’re not from Myanmar or Cambodia.)

Thai males pee everywhere when they feel like it, Why make an example of the Burmese man ?  Guess though peeing in public is just another reserved occupation for Thais until they have sufficient skills to open it up to competition ????

But certainly should put that picture in the tourists ads. What better than a Thai man pointing at a puddle of pee ?

'Special services'. Part of that job description now includes looking for foreigners urinating in public, as this is a reserved occupation?

I remember reading recently (and seeing the poster) that Thais have been encouraged to contact the authorities if they see a foreigner working and 'suspect' it may be illegally, as it obviously was in this case.

Yep just a job for the Thai Seals that one, covertly watching people taking a pee. Just up their street, why  they could also get awarded a plastic medal for their bravery perhaps.  Rescuing the boys from the cave and having to follow a foreigners instructions on the rescue procedures guess they are themselves a bit p$ssed off by now. Talking of which, I wonder what happened to the 4 seals caught out randomly shooting into the demonstrators in sukhumvit Road in 2010 ? Maybe got a direct contract with the Junta perhaps looking for Thai targets in Laos ?

Apparently Thai male can urinate and spit anywhere they like because they're thais, not so for others, beside, for a country with 40+million tourists and no or very few public lavatories for either Thai or foreigners, but lot of penalties if you get caught... go figure, easy to  issue penalties than to build public toilets...

Is he pissing all over the pier  .. !   and the special services has seen all the piss with his own eyes and just to confirm that it's Myanmar piss he's pointing at it in the picture.

There are Thai public toilets already - Bali Hai Pier.

Talking of doing it everywhere, I've found a Thai sign telling people 'no shitting or pissing'.

I've seen a few signs on pieces of open land before.

Thai and farangs do that on jomtien beach every night and just oppersite a 10 b toilet

So another hobbiest who lurks the beaches all night to watch people peeing ????  We had another on the forum who spends Sundays looking for empty bottles left by Thais. No wonder Thais say Farangs are strange ????????????

It could also means that i sit on beach with my wife try have a romantic evening but drunk cheap Charlie's take a piss on beach chairs and not go toilet 

These Myanmar again. They cannot read Thai. They don't know we cannot urinate at Bali Hai pier, it's private.
