webfact
BMA hospitals, clinics offer free influenza jabs By The Nation FILE photo To combat the increased risk of influenza outbreaks during the rainy season, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will offer free flu vaccinations to residents, a senior official said on Tuesday. Doctor Chawin Sirinak, director of the BMA’s Health Department, said the city authority would provide the free jabs to members of the public and at-risk groups for the next two months. The flu vaccinations are available at all 68 BMA community clinics and hospitals. The Health Department will also monitor for possible outbreaks of influenza in kindergartens and day-care centres during the next two months of rainy season so that prompt action can be taken to halt spread of the virus among young children, he added. Smc75
Coming down with the flu in Thailand is very frustrating. I don't think this influenza jab will cost too much if you pay yourself. By the way, I came across a map of hospitals in Thailand on google maps, it might be useful for someone.
