Most EU governments back another Brexit delay, says EU source - The Times

(Reuters) - Most European Union governments will back another Brexit delay regardless of who becomes the next British prime minister, The Times reported https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/brexit-will-be-delayed-to-hold-a-second-vote-says-eu-source-6vm7b6r9f on Friday, citing a senior European source.

 

At least 25 European governments are prepared to give the UK another extension, despite statements from most British prime minister candidates that Britain will leave the EU on Oct. 31 with or without a deal, the newspaper added.

 

"In the end no one wants to be seen as the one who pulls the plug," the source told The Times.

Of course they back another delay, the longer UK keeps paying into a club it doesn't want to belong to anymore the longer the EU survives.
Tell me again how many failed economies are in the EU that UK money is supporting ?

Only the German government counts though.

Good - Johnson will face a vote of No Confidence when he eventually wins - he will then face a parliamentary vote of no confidence, lose an election the Brexit party will kill the Tories and let Corbyn in. Last I heard it was the remainers causing all the problems. There has been no Brexit therefore I don't see how you can blame the people who voted for it. All we have now is indecision and chaos, something the forex markets hate, hence the falling pound. You see, this is why we have democracy, when people can't agree on something, it has to be done by a vote. As long as everyone abides by the result, even if they don't like it, democracy works. When people do what the losers (remainers) are doing by fighting against the result, then chaos ensues.

It will probably be remembered as the last ever Tory PM anyway - forget Brexit - the Tory party is going the way of the Dodo fast. The average age of the remaining Tory party members I read is 57!   It’s always been a worry to me, that should the decision to leave the E.u be put into the hands of the two main parties, that many Labour supporters will vote on traditional and loyalty lines. As they say, put a red rosette on a monkey and they’l vote For it. Same as in some ares of the country,if you place a Blue rosette on a monkey, some people will still vote for it.

  Regarding the Peterborough by-Election declaration, I noticed on the U.K. news channels, the ethnic composition of those celebrating Labours victory, they looked as if they were all of the Muslim Faith. Perhaps that is why many people now associate the Labour Party, not with the working class, but with representing those same Muslims.
