rent house-1st time pool owner

Featured Replies

Hi all:

Im thinking of renting a house with a small pool on side of house in Bangsarey.

The maintenance of the pool is included in the rent but...this could be a problem if its not done correctly  for health and otherwise.

My question is: what are the questions to ask to the person who will maintain it to ensure they do a good job.

The present owner of the house bought the house secong hand and therefore has no knowledge about the pool.

ph levels..vacuum...pump etc

Any info would be help

please only from former or previous pool omners or maintenance people

Thanks in advance

If it looks clean and clear it will be fine, if you start reading too much into on swimming pool forums and the like, you will be buying chemicals every day, PH is easily adjusted with either acid or soda ash, vacuum will plug in somewhere, anyone with any experience will know how to set up.

Questions to ask - just look at the water quality and take it from there.

Good luck.

If not installed ask the owner to put in a salt chlorinator.

This will solve 80% of water quality issues.

PM me if you need more info & a price.
