Good Dentist in BKK or Riverside City (Chaopriya) Area--English speaking (some) preferable

Retired USA Expat Couple living in the Riverside City (by Chaopriya River) area.

 

Can anybody help us in finding a good dentist (English speaking preferable---Wife and I speak very little Thai)  for cleaning and root canal work in our area or in Bangkok. Preferably, cheaper than BIDC

 

We went to BIDC (Bangkok International Dental Center) in Bangkok. Majority of Staff & Dentists speak decent English. They quoted us:

 

Deep Scaling                                                                             5000 B

Filling 1 surface/tooth                                                               1500  B

Filling 2 surface/tooth                                                               2500  B

Root Canal Treatment, Molar                                                      15000 B

Post & Core Build Up                                                                   6000  B

All Ceramic Crown                                                                    18000   B

Surgical Removal                                                                        5000  B

There is an excellent dentist near you. The lady speaks good English and her work is very good.

I have used Bangkok smile near the Sala Daeng BTS stop (Silom)  Would always take the free Anantara hotel ferry to Saphan Taksin station (Sathorn pier) then BTS to Sala Daeng and walk a few blocks.  https://www.silomsmiledental.com/

Have not had any major work done there but the dentist I saw was very competent I thought and spoke english very well.  You can call them to get prices or send them an email from their website.

I had 2 x fillings and and wash and brush up. My Mother had an extraction, wash and brush up and 4 x fillings.

Very very good female dentist. At first she comes across as cold and a little bit bossy. But she is really gentle and speaks and understands English.

Do you remember what was the price (ball park Ok, if you do not remember exactly) you and your mother paid for the work done?

I paid cash in both cases.

I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t remember how much either of the bills were.
All I would say is that both I and my Mother commended the dentist on her work.
This will sound super crazy, but both my Mother and I had fillings without knowing whilst we had a “wash and brush up”.
That shows how sensitive the dentist is
