British Woman Robbed at Local Weekend Market

At 11.15 pm on 11th March, The Dongtan Police were informed that Mrs. Michaela Leach, aged 39, a British national, was robbed at the local Thepprasit Weekend Market while she was shopping at one of the clothing stalls.

From Mrs. Leach’s statement, she stated that she has been visiting Pattaya continuously for 3 years with her husband and son.

Whilst visiting the weekend market, she fancied a shirt in one of the stalls and was allowed to try it on, so left her bag to the side. Unfortunately, when she turned around, her handbag was gone.

The bag contained over 15,000 Baht, 150 Pounds, eyeglasses, a diamond ring, a gold necklace worth 500 Pounds, her husband’s wallet containing over 7,000 Baht, a Master Card, and a Sony Camera.

The search for the criminal is ongoing.

That's very unfortunate. But in any city in the world you cannot turn your back on your belongings as well.

What?!! No kitchen sink?!

3 years and she does not know those 100 baht shirts are one size fits all.

Robbed ????

There must be a new definition of "robbed" or are they just trying to sell more copy?
