Under Carter, we had the Russians in Afghanistan, the Chinese in Cambodia, the Cubans in Angola, the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, and mullahs in Iran.  All while that smarmy-mouthed wimp preached against "an inordinate fear of communism."

Russia invaded Afghanistan in Dec 1979. Not sure what carter could have done about that. Admittedly the Russians were interfering in domestic politics long before that though.

The Vietnamese invaded Cambodia in Dec 1978 after repeated incursions and attacks on their territory by the genocidally inclined Khmer Rouge regime. They consequently removed them from power. A very good thing indeed, though the UN and associated powers inexplicably supported the Khmer Rouge for many years after that.

Cuban troops became involved in Angola in 1975, that would have been when Ford was president I believe.

The Sandinistas were Nicaraguans and therefore always in their country.

Likewise the Iranian revolution was instituted by Iranians, not sure what carter could have done about that, except maybe encourage the shah not to be the oppressive dictator that he was.

Edit to above: over did it with my views on the shah. He wasn’t an oppressive dictator.

He was an autocrat with little time for democratic structures but he did try to change aspects of the country for the better.

  Apologies for my hyperbole.

'Paid'?  evidence? links?  proof?  or more vile, bile fake news?

All can be found in ThaiVisa and other media... I really can't be bothered to do your research if you don't believe it. The fact that you ask for proof makes me believe that you are a trump loving american...

and USA didn't get involved with the false war in Iraq?  Cuba?  Vietnam?  and all the other places???  USA and Russia BOTH meddle and anyone who suggests it's just 'Russia' is misguided and succumbs to the brainwashing. Dems use this card to frighten ordinary Americans into another cold war as it suits their deep state purpose, GOP use it too. Both manipulate truth for their nasty ends.

Trump is a megalomaniac who should be no where near the Presidency but he's a reaction to the pc liberals who want to turn everyone into a vanilla milk shake.

President Trump said neither he nor his campaign colluded with Putin or any other Russians.  Of course, U.S. wants to be on good terms with Russia and Russia wants to be on good terms with U.S. USSR and successor, Russia, have been interfering and spying in and on the U.S. since Josef Stalin murdered his way to control in 1926.  If you don't like Trump, that's tough. Jimmy Carter says Trump's election was illegitimate?  Carter pronounced the election of Hugo Chavez president a boon for Venezuela -- how is Venezuela doing after a couple of terms of Chavez????  Mercifully, Chavez has croaked, but Venezuela has a long, difficult road to recovery!
