Balance board explosion nearly burns down man's house in Pattaya

 

 

Firemen and rescue personnel went to a house in Soi Krom Thee Din (Land Department Soi) in south Pattaya after a balance board exploded while it was being charged. 

 

Ten minutes of spraying water put out the fire that started in a bedroom at house number 380/24 on Tuesday morning. 

 

Korakot Karndee, 39, was given first aid for burns before being taken to Bang Lamung Hospital, reported Sophon Cable TV on Facebook.

 

 

Korakot told reporters that he had been in the bathroom when a balance board that he had put on charge on Monday exploded and set his bed on fire. 

 

As the blaze spread he tried to put it out with water but couldn't cope and so he called the fire department. 

 

A balance board is a device used to train balancing skills and as a fitness tool.

On balance I would say he was charging a dangerous Chinese board banned in Europe 3 years ago for starting fires and now he knows????
