Incompetant
The basic "not skillful" is an easy catch-all and not so strong, though a captious Thai might find it insulting anyway. ไม่เก่ง Mị̀ kèng -

Is Thailand Value for money
You, again, asked me how these foods can be healthy. I showed how. You haven't read all of my posts. I did say they are high in calories. This does not mean un healthy. It means you limit them if you need to lose or maintain your weight. Again, since you're still missing the point. You ask the restaurants what goes in their food, before you eat it. You still think these foods are un healthy. They aren't IF they are made healthy. A person can make a salad un healthy by loading on high sugar, fat and calorie dressing. The basic ingredients in a burger are, again, healthy. 20% fat isn't un healthy. It's again, not something you should eat everyday. This is another point you've been missing. You can save fat and calories by using 93% lean beef. -

Trump lost the respect of veterans – including me. He's a risk to our democracy.
I did investigate for myself. I watched the debate with Ms Harris. Trump was sinking his own ship by the sounds coming from his own mouth. Harris neednt have said a thing to "win." And I don't rely on MSM by the way. -

Where to apply for non-immigrant 'O' visa (over-50) without drawing UK pension?
Thanks for your feedback. That certainly seems like a good approach. I was considering using the monthly income method when I do my extension in Thailand so not to tie up ฿800,000. I could show the ฿800,000 equivalent in a U.K. bank account but this would have a different address to my U.K. driving licence. Seems like I need to show the ฿800,000 in my Thai bank account to avoid multiple addresses. -

What is the tipping practice in Thailand ?
This is no clearer than the original! Does each individual get this large amount? Or is this the total amount available for distribution, that gets divided up amongst the employees? Please ask if you do not understand this distinction. -

ICE vs EV, the debate thread
I think most of the brands that took part in EV 3.0 subsidy are praying that the Thai Goverment will offer them a lifeline Total BEV sales to 30th September stands at 40,464 Under EV 3.0 84,195 imported vehicles in 2022 and 2023 66,448 imported in 2024 So to meet EV 3.0 brands have to locally build 84,195 based on 1 to 1 ratio those build have to compete with 66,448 imported in 2024 so total number of vehicles is 150,643 The Thai locally built vehicles can't be exported unless they meet the 40% local content rule So we have 150,643 new vehicles of which 40.464 have been sold leaving 110,179 unsold EV sector crisis as Chinese firms are trapped between lack of demand and government tax penalties Thai EV crisis: Chinese firms struggle with overproduction and government tax penalties threat amid falling global demand. With rising household debt and regulatory hurdles, manufacturers face tough choices—either ramp up production at a loss or repay hefty subsidies and waived import taxes on EV cars coming from China. Thailand’s brave new EV manufacturing world is in crisis. The sector, which has seen Chinese firms invest billions, is now suffering a market glut as demand for EV cars, both in Thailand and across the world except for China, falls. This year has seen the industry tilt decisively towards HEV or hybrid vehicles. At this time, it is being reported that Chinese firms in Thailand are holding urgent talks with the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok. The firms are bound under Thailand’s 3.0 and 3.5 incentive schemes to ramp up production to match the number of imported vehicles here. However, unable to find export markets for the cars, they are left with a vast dilemma: either manufacture cars that no one wants or pay back subsidies and import tax waivers with penalties on each imported car to the Thai government. Something has to give either on one side or the other https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2024/09/16/ev-sector-crisis-as-chinese-firms-are-trapped-between-lack-of-demand-and-government-tax-penalties/ -

Stuffy nose - is it monsoon or not
I've had a cold of varying degrees for nearly 5 weeks now and it has sort of gone to my nose now. I also had a very bad cough for about 3 weeks of the cold but it is slowly disappearing. I'm in the rural lower east of Issan. -

Who said bars wernt making money?
They have likely picked up many former patrons from the now closed Climax bar. They both had similar business models; good place for big groups and couples, a band and close to Chow Mein Charlies and the Thai chippy (now both departed). Wasn't there some big Aussie egg-chasing match on Saturday that boosted numbers? -

Is Thailand Value for money
Why would tell someone that certain foods are healthy, when they are not? You have admitted that they need to be modified to make them less unhealthy. So by that admission, they are not healthy foods normally. Don't you 'get' that?
