Yeah I found that dog already, my girlfriend made a pretty decent Tom Yum out of him.

Not funny. Pathetic.

you ve never had a dog have you !

HA! Good one, lazeeboy!

Made me chuckle...and I have had dogs since I was 9.

In China, dogs are classified as black (good eating), yellow (so-so) and white (no good at all). This puppy is black, but too scrawny...

Hope you find it, but it's probable that someone will keep it inside until the heat blows over. Good luck.

Thanks so much to my lovely friend for helping me to try and find my dog Niramit. She's beening missing since Tuesday 13th of March. I live behind the Lamai Temple, quite a difficult to find place and around 11.30pm she disappeared. She's 7 months old, about to have her period - you really don't want that mess in your house surely??? - She's got black/grey curly hair that when left to grow can get very long. She has a tiny little white mark on her chest under her chin. We did bleach her hair a little on her forehead, however there's very little left now, as you can see from the picture. She loves standing up and then sitting down on her two back legs to "ask" for food, while you're eating.

I realise that this happens everyday on Koh Samui but I just don't get it. I bought her for two grand - why would someone want to steal her??? Surely you'd prefer a puppy that you can train the way you want and it loves you like crazy from the beginning??? Has she been stolen for breeding? Good luck - she's too young - any babies she has will die cos their bones won't be strong enough so good luck to you if somebody did!!

I know its normal here on Koh Samui, but I just don't get how somebody can feel ok with stealing somebody else's dog! I just don't understand it. Surely you'd be better off stealing my TV etc which you can sell for more money than my dog!! Anyway, hopefully she just walked off for a while and will return soon!

By the way - when looking for my dog I found a beautiful golden retriever puppy in Lamai that a Thai family had found - so if there's anyone out there who's recently lost a golden retriever puppy give me a shout.

I will pay anyone who can lead me to recover my dog 100% 3,000 THB - Hopefully, even if she's been stolen, this would be a big enough amount to make them return her!

(I think I'm being naiive... but its a nice dream... i miss my dog!!!)

She's 7 months old, about to have her period -

How on earth could you know that? It's called going into heat, by the way.

Why don't you cut Mystery some slack? Is this kind of post helpful in any way?

As for how a person can tell their dog is going into heat (or on heat if one is British). Well, the signs are pretty darn obvious. Swelling in the vaginal area, and nipples, vaginal discharge, overly loving attitude by the dog (towards the owner, not towards other dogs), less submissive. An alert dog owner will notice changes in their dogs physiology and behavior.

Anyway, hope you find your little dog, Mystery. I know how heartbreaking it is to have a beloved pet disappear. Have you tried posting pictures and flyers around?

I had another thought, perhaps your dog has disappeared because she is in heat already? Dogs in heat are quite well known for escaping to find a mate.
