She appeared with Pumpuang as a child prodigy leading to daft rumours she was her secret daughter. Very distinctive voice, can't mistake her for anyone else, got lots of her albums. 1

proton Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Waranuch Puttachart made about 5 albums from 2000 then suddenly disappeared. First for grammy was a double, so they must have thought a lot of her, great singer. 1 1
proton Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 The girl with the golden voice, Sunaree Rachasima for Korat. Bought her tapes in 1994 but did not see her until 2003. She married a guy from the Netherlands, but that seems to have run it's course. Often seen these days on Tv as contest judge. 2
proton Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 (edited) One of the most covered luktung songs, Kid Tung, Pee Mai by Sornkiri, killed in a car accident in 1972. Considered one of the best singer songwriters of his time. Edited October 5, 2023 by proton 1

proton Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Most underrated act Job and Joy from Ubon, probably would have done better at another label like top Line Diamond, used to love seeing these two. 1 1
proton Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Rainy day with Baowee, 2006 or about his big hit kaun mai Gub Reua. Not seen him for years but he always gives 100% in at concerts
proton Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 The great Ew Pempeyom singing a cantonese song made famous by Teressa Teng. Ew was famous for singing in Chinese which she did very well, I think this is one of the few recordings in Englsih she did.

proton Posted December 27, 2023 Posted December 27, 2023 If anyone is interested in seeing Sek Loso he is at Saeng Jan Pub Rama 2 just past Central on Dec 31st. Went last night to see Lamyai, place was packed so lucky to get a table. 2
proton Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Don't know any Thai/Lao singer who bothers to sing Kantrum songs but Lamyai can, and like anything else does very well. Although from Roi Et she came to Bkk when young, I remember her when she was about 8 selling food at concerts helping her mum. 1
