My favourite singer Jintara Poonlarp -rak sali dok fai baan, she's from Roi Et of course, her real name is Tongbai, which is just as nice. Singing for over 30 years.

I was at a party one night and Karabou was stone cold drunk... he got up and did maybe the best version of Desperado i ever heard... 

Got Jakrupan, one of the best ever male luktung voices, he is half Thai. His concerts are amazing as are his top notch dancers

Ok, here is Siriporn. Her husband just finished with her now he is with there adoption daughter!

With Toon, he runs all around Thailand raising money for hospitals. should be the PM. His band is Bodyslam.

Like to hear anyone try the chorus on this one !! Especially a farang !

 

 

Cham cham ram above is the Mrs favourite seen him loads of times, he's married to a lovely Swedish woman, his daughter used to get on stage and sing it when she was young. Anyway Siriporn Ampaipong when her life was simpler and her voice was better. Her big hit bo rak si damn. Somebody has put the soundtrack over the concert recording as that is weak. Gives an idea of how good her concert tour was in the 90's, and that was one of the best. Saw her 5 times in a week once in the early 2000's never boring.

Definitely one of the most popular country songs ever recorded, gulap denag, red roses by Somjit Bortong, he still tours with his troupe which are well worth seeing. Could not find concert footage now. Everyone loves this when it gets performed at a concert.

Some great choices. One of my many favourites is Yoo Trung Nee by Pongsit Khampee.

Jah Turbo changed the name to Ja Kan Hoo. Because of this song.

Is shocking. People thought it too rude. More than Lamyai.

“Itchy ear” thai slang for.....

 

She went on TV and the famous interview guy made her cry.

She said she do this way because she have to compete with more beautiful singer who can sing better.

 

The Thai people are forgiving people. Now she is a superstar, change the name again to Jah R siam. She been sick, but I think she recover already.
