If I get a one year business visa but no job, what bank can I use for an ATM account?

You can get a 6 month EG extension ( looking for work) or a 1 year ER extension ( over 55)

all the banks issue atm cards

ANZ bank told me a job is required for an ATM account.

Try ABA

After more reading I see I can get a 1 year retirement extention on a Cambodian e class visa (not the electronic evisa).

I spoke to aba a few days ago. I forget the details but you dont need a work permit. you need to show them a lease agreement that shows you rent a place and have maybe a years worth, I forget, of visas. Its easy enough to chat to them online thru their website to get the details.

I just opened an account at ABA.

 

Besides your passport you need one of the following:

 

long term (182 days or more) visa or multiple visas showing consecutive stay of at least 182 days

OR

A house rental contract/hotel or guesthouse bill(s) showing you have been on country at least 6 months

OR

An employment contract of at least 6 months duration, or if self-employed, business license.

 

No need for work permit, nor to be working,
