Not likely, the biometric system will log them.

True..if they were recorded.  But what if they arrive again with money and paperwork.

i doubt anyone can tell if someone is 'clearly a tourist or not'

on a first glance. who knows, maybe they had 100+ entry stamps ? or maybe its just racism ? or maybe the immigration officer had a bad hair day ?

One day proclaiming that the Indians will save tourism, the next not letting them in..... classic

Why do you sarcastically say "classic"? They are only doing what they said.

It's only rich Indians they want. These ones have no money and are not welcome.

You don't really have to have any particular immigration laws to use your discretions and training to spot people who are not genuine in their respective intentions when entering a country and it's the same in every country around the world...

Of are deemed not genuine by the Immigration Office, depending on his/her mood.........?

12 Indians?

Hope Thailand realizes that's 3 bottles of coke sales lost for each day they were planning to stay.

and a couple of large packets of straws. :cheesy:

"It's only rich Indians they want."  Not just Indians though, any nationality.

even if you have money to show and hotel booking and return ticket, they still ban tourists and send then back. it depends on one person!

but they let them sign a document stating like;  'no sufficient funds.' as the reason why they are sent back home to avoid legal issues later on!
