Study Thai in Chiang Mai and then have a change of scenery in Pattaya and study Chinese, Japanese or any other languages that are on offer at a number of schools here. Eg PLC or Pro Language Schools, and quite a few others. The schools will help you sort out all the documentation you need for immigration.

But pattaya is tooo hot!

You know exactly what my post means but I'm not going to post a direct answer on the reasons people use Ed visas to stay in Thailand.

Or Swedish. Skoodihoodiboodagoot. ( Rising tone )

  • Yeah, that is probably what all people that wish to study want to do. I actually thought that the visa section in this forum was for good advice, but I guess I have to reconsider.

If your intentions are genuine previous scammers have made your quest all that much harder, doable but met with skepticism these days so expect scrutiny..

Exactly the opposite! If you "attend" a not-so-genuine school that pays off immigration, your experience will be hassle-free according to many reports here and elsewhere. If you have a genuine interest in studying, but your school isn't a visa mill that provides that special service, your experience might be much less pleasant.
