Nephew Stabs Ex-Uncle-in-Law

An angry nephew stabbed his uncle-in-law as revenge for making his auntie heartbroken.

If that was not enough he continued the attack by strangling the man too. Luckily the police were able to capture the nephew right after the attack.

At 10.00pm on 14th March, the Pattaya police were informed that someone was seriously injured by a knife in a rented room. The police arrived at the scene not long after. There was blood everywhere. Residents said that the Sawang rescuers had taken the injured Mr. Sing Songkhorn to the hospital. A police volunteer and patrollers had already captured the attacker; Manit Chiawcharn, aged 28, at the scene.

Residents told the police that Sing is Manit’s ex-uncle-in-law. He has a new wife and have children together but still continuously comes back to Manit’s auntie – asking to get back together. Whenever this ex-uncle gets drunk he would come to destroy the auntie’s property.

On that day the same happened. Manit couldn’t stand it anymore so they had a fight. When both fell down, Manit managed to grab a knife and stabbed it into the uncle’s back and then strangled him. Fortunately residents came along to stop the attack.

Manit confessed to charges of attempting to kill Sing. Further proceedings are ongoing.
