Kaspersky has reason to worry. Their entire model depends on signatures already recognized. Fortunately they are very good at this end of it. The AVs that will deal with emerging threats best are the ones who employ the better heuristics that can spot unknown viruses.

So what AV program would you recommend ?

I don't recommend:

AVG, Norton, Panda, OneCare

For the record, I'd still trust Kaspersky over just about everything but nod32.

i'll put a plug in for avast
