Anyone else want a "retirement" type category here on Thai Visa?

So many great categories here on TV, yet do not see a category that addresses issues for single retirees or even just retirees for that matter.   I would think there is a fairly large demographic of "expats" that fit into a "retirement"  type of category, with issues and experiences specific to living in LOS single and unencumbered.

Would like to be able to read of and reply to postings that do not have mostly unrelatable feedback from foreigners who are under 50 (60 would be better IMO), are married, are raising children, are still working full time jobs, or are just living here part time.

There is a forum category titled marriage and family for those with wives, children, etc...another category about jobs, etc... but nothing I can find specific to retirees.

What are your thoughts?

Is a category specifically for single retirees too discriminatory/exclusionary?

Do you all welcome feedback from every foreigner/expat in LOS no matter what their age or marital status?

Regards, SW

It sounds like a good idea to me. I am retired, but am married to a Thai so not really interested in the back and forth exchanges regarding the single life.

You do know, there is a choice of reading all posts or not?

While I have no objection to new categories for anything, this one seems unnecessary. I think older retired males dominate almost every existing category.

They sure do, with their crotchety and clueless posts.

But don't deprive them of their own sub-forum.

It could be called The Elephant's Burial Ground.

After discussion it has been decided that a new forum under this name would be duplication of existing forums, so this topic can now be:
