I'm from Singapore and I wish to know more about adopting a child in Thailand, its costs and requirements.

I was wondering if any could point me to a reputable Home so I can know that my monthly contributions are well spent on the child's education and upbringing. It would definately be a plus if such a home would allow the kid to master the English language so that when I visit him, conversation would be a possibilty.

Should the home require me to make a flight down to fill up some papers, I'll be most willing to.

It is not a full blown adoption? Is it more like supporting the kid while it stays in an orphanage?

Sounds like you are looking for child sponsership not adoption. Google "child sponsership thailand" & research the different options there are several listed under this search.
