Abundant rainfall, heavy to very heavy in some areas, is forecast over the next 2-3 days for most of the country due to tropical storm ‘WIPHA’.

Thailand’s Meteorological Department reported at 4am today that Wipha was centred about 155kms east of Hanoi over the upper Gulf of Tonkin and is moving west-southwest slowly with maximum sustained wind speeds of about 70 km/hr.

It is forecast to make landfall over Hanoi today and downgrade to a tropical depression and low pressure cell respectively over Laos and northern Thailand in the next 2 days.

sorry to disagree with you. the storm is no where near Japan. We have been tracking it all week in other topics.

this graphic is one day old. the storm is now over north thailand.

and you can see the storm directly due north of Bangkok. most of the north looks to be under a huge cloud cover today.

It's Been Raining in Nong Khai since about 02.00hrs & Still is Now at 11.45hrs But it's only Very LIGHT.....

Any chance my outlaws will see rain in Chaiyaphum ?

Pak Thong Chai, Korat: Bit of light rain for about 10 minutes late this afternoon, been some strong winds from time to time over the past couple of days. Wish it would belt down rain because the whole region is very dry & dusty.

Around our way, east of Pats we did have a build up of dark nympho syphilis clouds but they were quickly replaced by those grey coitus interuptus clouds so the end result was not that good on the rain front.
