Lazada website problem.

Featured Replies

I am not sure where this needs to be, if it is in the wrong section I am sure the Mods will move it. On Lazada, when I press the ‘Add to Cart’ button to make purchases, I get the error message, “Sorry, something went wrong on our side”, and nothing goes into the cart. This error occurs for any purchases I try to make and at any store on the Lazada platform.

I have contacted Lazada on 4 separate occasions and been told by their agent that they will escalate the issue to the correct dept. and they will contact me within 2 working days. They haven’t, so my guess is that they are unable to fix things.

For my side I have tried clearing Cache & Cookies, disabled the Ad Blocker and tried 4 different Browsers, all to no avail. Am I missing something? Has anyone else had this problem? I should add that this is a recent problem and I have had no techie type problems in the past, I have not installed anything on my PC recently. And that I do not use the app as I do not possess a smart phone. Can anybody make any suggestions as to what to do next? Thanks for any forthcoming assistance.

This is Lazada Thailand, you are signed in, and you are not in the outer reaches of the universe (or using VPN indicating you are)?  Perhaps they had a look at your forum photo?  ????

I just checked and worked fine using Chrome, direct login and Singapore VPN for me.

Thank you, very helpful ???? I have tried with Chrome, Firefox, IE and Opera all give the same result! I think the solution may be to use Shopee. ????

No issues here on PC or tablet.

No issues on Chrome with no vpn.

All we can say is working fine for us.  You use direct log method (not via Facebook or other option)?  Did it work before?  Did it stop working after an operating system upgrade?  You are using Windows10?  It does seem something may be preventing display of pop up window as that does create one.

For many things I do find Shopee a better choice and can pay direct from bank account avoiding card fees.  But you do have to use a bit of due diligence in selecting merchants as there are many (with zero sales).

This may be irrelevant but I had this problem some time ago - but not with Lazada specifically.  Just could not put stuff into the cart.

Turned out that the MTU on my system was set too high.  I had to reduce from the default 1500 to 1488 and then everything worked.

May well not be your problem but you can Google for 'check MTU' or some similar phrase, and check and adjust as necessary.

I've bought several items in the last few days with no issues.

The pic you pasted has some personal details visible, you may wish to delete it. (I always thought that place was the "Outer Reaches")

Thanks, I will give it a try.

You know of course that  there will be a 30% tax on  "foot ware"

Lazada Thailand items are final price - even if ordered yourself there should not be any tax as total for item/vat/shipment would be less than 1,500 baht.

As the boots are coming from overseas (China), try Aliexpress,

more selection,maybe cheaper.

It happens to me too, it lets me put items into my cart, but then I get the message you get. The only way I can get round this is to then go to my mobile phone and log onto Lazada, it will then operate as normal.

I have tried every way possible, with or without vpn, it still won't work on any of my tablets.

I am not actually trying to buy the boots, I just used that shop to illustrate an example of the problem.

Thanks, maybe that is why I have had no feedback from Lazada technical department. They obviously have no clue of how to fix it. However, I am still going to pursue it on a daily basis and drive them as crazy as they are driving me. I can view it for it's entertainment value.

Have you tried your mobile phone to order, works for me?

Edit: if it works on my mobile, maybe the fault does not lie at their end, but I'm not a techno geek.

I have already stated I don't possess a smart phone, only a non internet basic call and message phone. It would be pointless having a smart phone when I am a dumb user! ????

Maybe the smartness of the phone can make up for the dumbness of the user?

You know, of course, that the tax on something that he cannot buy is probably zero?

I have just had a play around and I have sussed it, the fault doesn't appear to be at Lazadas end but in your browser. I went into my browser and then settings, and then 'clear private data' after I cleared the data it working just fine.

But untill you get somebody that can confirm you will not lose other information I would hold fire.

And just to add that the posters that are being less than helpfull are not too smart themselves.????

I have tried 4 different browsers and 2 of those I have not used before, and all give the same error message.

No, I haven't. I will follow your advice and wait until I have my techie buddy here, just in case something goes wrong.
