Public invited to witness 800kg marijuana, 300kg kratom burnoff

PHUKET:-- A total of 500kg of marijuana and along 300kg of kratom were incinerated in Phuket today (Aug 7) in a public display of the government’s efforts in the fight against drugs.

Anutin distributes first batch of cannabis oil

Mekong rises two metres in a day, workers scramble to get out of the way

The Mekong River level in the northeastern province of Nong Khai on Wednesday continued its rapid rise – up two metres in a single day – prompting sand-digging operators and workers on both Thailand and Laos riverbanks to move their machines and sand to higher ground to evade the torrential water.

(Reuters) - Canadian police said on Wednesday they found two bodies that they believe are of the fugitive teenage boys charged with killing a university lecturer and suspected in the murders of two tourists in British Columbia.

Speeding up “political cases” is double-edged sword

If the Prayut government was a man with a weak heart, legal cases involving opponents of the administration were strong pills, which aren’t necessarily good for someone not in perfect conditions. The dilemma, therefore, is obvious: The medication can help, but it also can be very risky.
