More  rubbish  talk although  looking at all the pork bellies in England they need  the food  shortage.

Have you been to England ?

The English can't afford to eat as they are saving for No Deal - the pork bellies are the EU immigrants, over-indulging on the strength of their Euros.

Harks back to 1999 ... just how much did they spend on preparing us for the "Millenium bug".

Remember the prophecies of a UK meltdown at the turn of the Century ... computers crashing ... planes falling out the sky.

And what happened ... nothing ... life carried on as before.

.... ha, just seen Topdeadsenter shares my sentiments.

Bit of an "ignorant" comment, many companies did suffer because they ignored the advice and did nothing.

As you have quite clearly demonstrated, the one thing the 2 events have in common is misinformation, and it is up to each individual to interpret information as they see fit.

Maybe you should reflect on what Bojo's right hand man has to say.

The state pension age should be raised to 75 within the next 16 years to help boost the UK economy, according to a Tory think tank.

The biggest mistake that was made on the referendum was making it just a majority. It should have been 60% or more for leaving to actually leave. Now, the country is facing all this upheaval due to 4% of the voters. Anyway, too late now and I don't believe another referendum should be held as that creates a bad precedent for the future.

They are representing all the nation, not just those who voted Brexit.

It being their job to represent, all the nation.

How can you represent all the nation, give some 52% brexit and the remainers 48%.

Totally misleading.

Try comparing tariffs between the two.

Also, you do know that all the individual countries of the EU are also WTO members?

Exactly, the bulk of trade carried out by WTO members is done under agreement and not basic WTO rules.

are you sure about that?

All EU members are WTO members but they do not have a tariff schedule, the EU schedule is used.

I think it was in July last year that the UK submitted a schedule for approval, a schedule based on a copy of the EU schedule. Another schedule on services was submitted in December.

There have been several objections and the wheels of the WTO turn very slowly.

There will be no shortage. Some delays at most. Every country is running desperately after the markets.
The only problem will be to keep enough credit to pay.
Especially with the gold mine of financial services that is already migrating to Frankfurt and Paris...

I read the opposite    financial centres cannot compete   ,operators have to speak English   many do not want to learn whatever  stays in London I'm (not) afraid

The main problem with not having a plan in place can be fairly laid at the feet of Teresa May and Philip Hammond, neither of whom had any intention of formally exiting the EU.

Maybe, maybe not, but for Johnson to enter into a No-deal scenario borders on madness without any concept of how to manage the repercussions. Surely, people should realise that it's the surest way to failure.

No, that’s not what “some” say, it’s what the rules say. So “The Germans and French” can’t “pull the strings”. Get your facts right.

Yes the rules. The EU and rules. Hilarious. Well I know what type you are then believing that.
