Phitsanulok hospital opens ‘ganja clinic’

The new clinic offers its services every Wednesday and Friday from 8.30am to noon.

 

With the cautious introduction of marijuana-based medications at government hospitals, Buddha Chinnaraj Hospital in Phitsanulok has begun drawing interest from people including cancer sufferers with a dedicated clinic that opened on Thursday (August 22).

(Reuters) - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday it had identified 193 potential cases of severe lung illness tied to vaping in 22 states as of Aug. 22, including one adult in Illinois who died after being hospitalized.

Phuket —  Phuket’s old town, with its open-air noodle shops and brightly painted Sino-Portuguese shop fronts, is a favorite social media and selfie backdrop for tourists from China. The island, which has a year-round population of 500,000, typically attracts about 7 million foreign visitors a year, of whom 2 million are Chinese — Thailand’s biggest source of tourists.
