Do you want President Harris to pardon Trump?
AFAIK Trump is the only President who deliberately concealed the fact he had taken top secret papers, then lied about how many had been returned. Which led to the FBI raid. Your last sentence has me wondering what you are smoking. It's obvious to anyone with a couple of brain cells Cannon is as bent as a boomerang. -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
Didn't take you long to get your facts wrong. First of all, Taylor Swift's audience isn't composed much of tweens or teenagers. If you actually listened to her music you would know it's not aimed at them. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1372971/taylor-swift-fans-by-generation/ And then there's this: Taylor Swift drove 405,999 visitors to vote.gov in 24 hours after Kamala Harris endorsement Taylor Swift's post endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the White House on Tuesday drove 405,999 users to visit the site vote.gov over the course of the following day, a sign of the potential effect her decision to speak out could have on November's election. Vote.gov is run by a federal agency known as the General Services Administration, in partnership with the U.S. Election Assistance Commission. The site includes information about how to register to vote and cast a ballot, and directs users to state sites where they can register. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/taylor-swift-kamala-harris-endorsement-vote-gov/ -

People’s Party urges urgent rewrite of 2017 constitution
Yeah yeah, seen all that before. Talk to a few Thais across the country from different backgrounds and you'll get a different answer. A Thai lady accountant I worked with (in Bkk) was outspoken and regularly told the staff that she was very proud of her very high ranking red policeman father. She had no hesitation to talk about how vote buying works and talk about the cozy relationship between thaksin and her father. She also mentioned that the locals in her fathers 'domain' wouldn't dare to vote for other candidates / parties and they were convinced if they did they would easily be identified and punished. One punishment was to put flyers in all the letter boxes of numerous nearby houses saying that the target house / family were not supporting the paymaster, resulting in the errant family being ostracized refused service at local shops, kids harassed beaten up at school etc. -

Do you want President Harris to pardon Trump?
No, nor prison for trump. House Detention for life and removal from all social media platforms, including no interviews for public broadcast. Anyone disseminating his lies and misinformation, if convicted, to face jail time. -

EXPAT TAXATION - Does anyone really know what's going on?
I think at the moment the situation can be summed up in the words of Donald Rumsfeld....."as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know." The mind truly boggles at how they will implement any of this. I think only something like 6% of Thais pay taxes. My wife's father was one of 14 siblings up in Udon. There are therefore numerous members of my wife's extended family scattered around the province and some in Pattaya too. They all seem to be involved in businesses of some sort. Some legal and some occupying what might be charitably described as a 'grey area'. I don't think any of them pay tax. My wife owns a couple of small businesses and also rents out two condos in Pattaya. I don't think she even has a tax number.... If I ever mention tax she gives me a 'death stare'. One of the extended family run a fair sized entertainment business in Pattaya. My wife and I were once talking about how much profit he was making (quite a bit). I said 'he must pay a lot of tax on that'. My wife says 'He doesn't pay tax'. I said 'How can he not pay tax?'. Her response was 'Some people pay tax and some people don't'. I left it there. -

DIY Bog Filter for fish pond.
I made this bog filter for my fish pond a few years ago without knowing if I was doing it the correct way or not. It seems to work reasonably well but the polyester filter still needs changing every 6 months or so, which I assume would be normal. I just have a submerable Anyone who has more experience than me welcome to comment or give advice. I have a submersible pump that pumps the water into the bowl where it's filtered through the polyester. -

Group Attacks Pattaya Bar Worker After Luring Her to Meeting
A Pattaya bar worker, Ms. Paphasara, was attacked by a group of people after attempting to peacefully resolve a conflict with someone she didn't know. On the night of September 12, she was assaulted outside a hotel in Central Pattaya, Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province. The attackers openly admitted they "just wanted to slap her." Ms. Paphasara, who is 20 years old, reported the incident to the police and provided CCTV footage as evidence. According to Ms. Paphasara, the assailant had sent a message through a mutual friend's Facebook account, expressing a desire to slap her simply because they didn't like her. To avoid any trouble, she reached out to them and arranged a meeting to clear things up. However, when she arrived at the location, she was confronted by three women and three men, reported Daily News. When she asked why they had an issue, they replied indifferently that there was no specific reason, they just wanted to slap her. The group then attacked her until she was injured, but tourists and security guards intervened, stopping the assault. Ms. Paphasara filed a complaint with the Pattaya City Police and handed over CCTV footage that clearly captured the attack and the identities of the attackers. She expressed disbelief that such violence could occur in Pattaya and urged the police to pursue the attackers and bring them to justice through legal means. Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Really ... and who would that be. If you can do all your local driving, and exploring on the battery of a PHEV, I'd consider that an EV. If I had one, unless going O&A, non locally, I'd never need the ICE part, as everything needed is within 5 kms of house, and a radius of 35-50 kms would meet any thing else wanted. And I live in Nakhon Nowhere compared to urban living. Not so sure I'd consider the HEVs an EV, with their 1-3kWh battery. EVs in TH ... TH not even on you graph .. 🙄- 1

90-day report without physical passport book
How are you attempting to file your 90 report online ?? Via the Internet on a computer, or via the Section 38 Immigration App ? The reason I ask, is that in the past I struggled with the Immigration Website not working and instead used the Section 38 App which worked. -

Abc’s Muir needs to make a public apology
FBI / DoJ states otherwise and other fact checked lies by trump. Violent crime surged during the pandemic, with homicides increasing nearly 30% in 2020 over the previous year — the largest one-year jump since the FBI began keeping records. But FBI data released in June shows that the overall violent crime rate declined 15% in the first three months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. One expert has cautioned, however, that those figures are preliminary and may overstate the actual reduction in crime. On Friday, Trump cited numbers he said were from the “bureau of justice statistics” to claim crime was up. This appears to be a reference to the National Crime Victimization Survey recently released by the Justice Department, which shows that the number of times people were victims of violent crime increased by about 40% from 2020 to 2023. The report notes, however, that while the rate of violent victimizations in 2023 was higher than it was in 2020 and 2021, it was not statistically different from the rate in 2019, when Trump was president. https://apnews.com/article/fact-check-misinformation-trump-california-news-conference-a02862f23ebb777057842803e37eff80 -
