Bike Crash in front of X-Zyte Disco

A motorbike was speeding on Pattaya 3rd Road and tried to overtake another motorbike in the same lane but miscalculated and crashed to the opposite lane to hit another motorbike.

The speeding driver died later at the hospital.

At 2.30am on 21st March, the Pattaya police were informed that a motorbike accident occurred on Pattaya 3rd road in front of X-Zyte discotheque and there was someone seriously injured so quickly rushed to the scene.

At the scene they found a damaged Yamaha Meo motorbike. About 50 meters away; Sawang Rescuers were aiding Mr. Wutichai Phuphraisit, aged 32. The rescuers quickly sent him to Memorial hospital since his condition was very serious.

The other damaged motorbike was a Honda Wave, driven by Mr. Wanlop who had minor injuries and was waiting to give his statement to police.

From Mr. Wanlop and witnesses’ statements, it was found that Mr. Wutichai was speeding along 3rd road heading for South Pattaya. When he reached this spot, he tried to overtake another motorbike but miscalculated and crashed, which made him and his bike fly over to the opposite lane to hit Mr. Wanlop’s motorbike.

The police were later informed by the hospital that Mr. Wutichai died. Further proceedings are ongoing.
