Barman Shot Outside Karaoke

A shooting occurred in Soi Chaiyaphool, the Soi beside X-Zyte discotheque. The gunman accurately shot at the victim’s forehead but luckily the victim was sitting sideways so the bullet only grazed his forehead.

At 6.00am on 19th March Pattaya police were informed that a shooting occurred in front of Ruam Kuan Karaoke, and there was someone injured. Pattaya Police Chief, Police Colonel Sutin Sappuang was informed of this and officers quickly rushed to the scene together with Sawang Rescuers.

At the scene the injured was already taken to the hospital. Witnesses told the police that the injured man is Mr. Prasartporn, aged 30. He is a staff member at the Ruam Kuan Karaoke. At the time of the shooting, Mr. Prasartporn was sitting in front of the venue with his friends.

Suddenly, two men on a motorbike stopped in front of them and the passenger pulled out a gun and aimed it at Prasartporn. He shot once and very accurately up close, which hit the victim’s forehead and knocked him off the chair.

The hospital informed the police that Prasartporn was very lucky because the bullet had just grazed his forehead and his condition was stable.

The police think of two reasons for this shooting. One might be because of jealousy, and the other might be because of some personal revenge. More investigation is ongoing.
