Boris, Farage and The Sun did promise that there would be a deal. In fact they stated the the EU will beg the UK for a deal. They have mislead the people or they are incompetent or both. The reality is very far from what they have promised in the run-up to the referendum. Also the results weren't supposed to be legally binding. It would be fair to give the public a chance for an educated decision. 

By taking 'No Deal' off the table 'Brexit' is not, in any real sense, now possible. 

 

The 'EU' has to agree the deal, the 'EU' wants the 'UK' to 'Remain', therefore any 'Deal' will require the 'UK' to effectively remain within the 'EU' as whatever 'Deal' they agree to, is one which leaves the 'UK' subject to all 'EU' rules and regulations, with 'No Voting'; or Remain as a fully participating member with a position even less advantageous than it has at present. 

 

All the EEC/EC/EU 'treaties' have pointed in one direction, a 'Federal State' ruled by a 'Federal' government at a massive cost to the tax payer.  

 

The duplicity of these 'MPs' who were elected via their parties manifestos to effect Brexit is destroying the public's trust in 'Parliament' and democracy. What a disgraceful and hypocritical lot they are.

The MPs in their Westminster bubble remind me of student union politics in the 70s. Crass and self absorbed.

The only winner is Russia, weaker EU means stronger Russia. Biggest winner  in long term is China, it is easier to dictate trade terms with individual nations, next to China any European country is tiny and insignificant.

Best stay in the EU then, if Parliament can't be trusted. Folks need to eat and pay bills while they continue to squabble. We need to be governed by someone.

So why are they not representing their constituents. Many Remain MPs of all parties are not supporting their constituencies who voted to leave. My MP in Taunton Deane is one of them.
