Original S9+ Samsung clear view standing cover no longer supported after official system updates?

Looking for somebody who still has a fully functional cover after having installed the latest original Samsung system updates.

 

Current workaround: order a much more cheap comparable cover via Lazada, and install and check the EveryCover app. That seems to be working well in combination with the latest system update of September 2019.
