Blade star Wesley Snipes responds to Mahershala Ali's casting: "Imitation is the best form of flattery"

Original Blade actor Wesley Snipes has weighed in further about Marvel's reboot.

 

Earlier this year, it was announced that Marvel would be reviving the franchise with Mahershala Ali taking on the lead role, having got in touch with MCU bosses to ask about playing the part.

 

Mahershala's casting meant that there wouldn't be room for Wesley to reprise his role, and he has already reacted to that.

 

In a recent interview, Wesley also appeared to double down on his support for Mahershala, admitting that he feels flattered by the double Oscar winner's interest in the character.
