Thai drama to be filmed in South Korea

South Korea’s Gangwon province is hoping to draw more Thai tourists by inking a deal with Magic if Entertainment company to support the filming of the drama “The Destiny of Love” – “Phrom Phisawats” in Thai – by the well-known novelist who goes by the penname Thepita.

Kasetsart U lecturer in hot water for proposing change to Section 1 of the Constitution

A political activist has called on Kasetsart University to take disciplinary action against a lecturer, for proposing the amendment of Section 1 of the Constitution, in order to set an example for the other academics and students.

PM Prayut, Singaporean ambassador discuss cooperation

BANGKOK (NNT) - Singapore has confirmed its commitment to cooperating with Thailand in the exchange of information in all respects, while voicing its support for Thailand as the current ASEAN Chairman. Thailand is inviting investors from Singapore to invest in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) and the Eastern Economic Corridor of Aviation (EECA).

Mitr Phol pledges no environmental effects from new Khon Kaen factory

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Hong Kong demonstrators clashed with police into the early hours of Thursday, throwing petrol bombs and venting their anger over the shooting of a teenager earlier in the week, as months of anti-government protests showed no sign of letting up.

Chula’s award-winning paper ‘dog brain’ patented

A model of a dog’s brain simply constructed of paper and cardboard at Chulalongkorn University was deemed useful enough to veterinary studies to win an award in Europe last spring and was recently patented.

Paris police employee stabs four people to death in force HQ, then is shot
